Our Purpose and Philosophy
Bent Toward Purpose and Driven by Impact
Our Purpose: What’s Our “Why?”
What does it mean to be “bent toward purpose and driven by impact?” We view our responsibility in our clients' financial lives as extending beyond the conventional scope of a typical financial advisor. This wider scope of responsibility we seek is the intersection of our careers and our calling. Put simply, our clients’ interests are at the heart of what we do. We’re committed to taking care of what we’ve been entrusted as if it were our own, while helping our clients make well-informed decisions with generational implications. While our clients’ mindset, goals and outcomes are our focus, the most significant benchmark for judging ourselves will be the extent to which our clients grow in their generosity during the time we get to journey with them. There are ever-growing issues that need addressing in our communities, state, nation, and the world beyond. If we do our jobs well, we can help our clients discern how and where they can use their wealth to impact the world.
Our Philosophy
The Wilkins & Nobles Wealth Management Group’s practice is centered around confidentiality, transparency, and objectivity. This process begins with developing a deep understanding of their clients’ financial pictures, risk tolerance, goals, and objectives. Rather than picking individual stocks and bonds or deciding when to buy or sell individual positions, we help clients formulate an appropriate asset allocation strategy utilizing some of the industry’s most reputable third-party money managers, whom we believe are best equipped to help make these decisions. The team then holds these managers accountable in meeting their clients’ investment needs, allowing the team to focus on helping clients best manage their cash flow, coordinating and communicating with the client’s CPA, attorney, and other family members, driving strategies in investment, estate, and charitable planning, and exploring where insurance may be beneficial. With Stifel’s vast resources at their disposal, the team is well equipped to serve their clients’ unique financial needs.
